Pushing Your Limits To Achieve Amazing Goals

IRONMAN GOALS

As I stood on the beach staring out at the distance I had to travel, I felt tense but under control. This was not my first IRONMAN® triathlon. I had trained hours and months, and I was ready to take on the day! The gun sounded; I began the long journey, determined to reach my goal!

There are many moments in an IRONMAN when your mind and body will battle with thoughts of quitting. You know you’re physically capable, but will your mind allow you to do it? We all have hopes and dreams we wish to accomplish, and the only way to realize them is by taking action. Whether it’s an IRONMAN, a goal to build your ASEA business, or another personal goal, you’re going to need to step out of your comfort zone.

HERE ARE FOUR WAYS TO PUSH YOUR LIMITS AND ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS:

1. Set a goal and write it down -Day-to-day obstacles will try to derail you, but having your goal stated in words, where you can read it every day, will keep you strong in your journey.

2. Create smaller goals that lead to your big goal -There are moments when you may feel defeated in your quest. By setting small goals, you’ll experience moments of achievement even before you accomplish your major goal, providing continued motivation throughout your journey.

3. Don’t be afraid to make a mistake – We are not perfect. We should never expect that reaching our goal is going to be easy. We need to be willing to step outside our comfort zone and make mistakes along the way. That is the only way we will learn and grow. Successful people do not get to where they are without many mistakes. Challenge yourself to accept and learn from mistakes. It may not be in your nature to fail, but the victory waiting for you is worth it.

4. Believe in yourself -Many people struggle to have faith in themselves. Outside influences often combine with a boat load of excuses that can be unmotivating and discouraging. You can’t rely on others to be your fuel to reach your desired goals. Only you can have the burning passion and desire to achieve your dreams. They are yours and yours alone. You have to know in your heart that you can do it. There will be those who may ridicule your efforts. Unfortunately, they usually speak the loudest. Don’t let them pull you off the course. Stay strong and believe in yourself.

Christiann SandersIRONMAN VICTORY!

For 2.4 miles (approx.. 3.8 km) the ocean waves crashed into me, and I battled, hoping for a great swim to start my race. On the shore, the bike waited with its own set of challenges. Over the course of 112 lonely miles (approx.. 180 km) of the ride, I overcame each blast of heavy winds, the passing showers of rain, and scorching hot sun.

Then came the final hurdle. There is nothing more exhilarating and exhausting than the run after several hours on a bike. My legs felt bound up and rubbery, my mind reminded me that I had 26.2 miles (approx.. 42 km) to go. “Can I really do this?” I asked myself. I conquered this race once before, I knew I could do it again. My goal was to shave time off my previous race. I set out on the run, one foot in front of the other, and in time I found my stride.
The final stretch to victory is indescribable! So many emotions fill your body, from joy to excitement, to the pain you’re currently experiencing. Just a few more feet until everything I had been working for paid off.

I crossed the finish line of IRONMAN Coeur d’ Alene 2014 with an incredible victory over my previous race. I slashed four hours off my time! I exceeded my own goal and expectations! I believed in myself, and stayed strong in my thoughts throughout the race, and the victory was mine!

Training, nutrition, and a sound supplement program all contributed to my personal victory. The thing that made the biggest difference between from my race in 2010 to 2014 was ASEA. Since my introduction to the products, I have never been without them.

Thank you ASEA for the fantastic products.
