Planning Your Trip to ASEA 2017 Global Convention: Where to Stay & What to Eat

ASEA 2017 Global Convention is fast approaching. It’s time to start planning your trip! With this year’s convention being held in ASEA’s home state, we have some recommendations on where to stay and where to eat for all of you out-of-state attendees!

Affordable Accommodations

You can get and exclusive ASEA discounted rate at either of these two hotels:

Salt Lake City Marriot Downtown at City Creek – This hotel is the host hotel for the convention event! That means that in addition to a discounted price of $189 per night, you will receive a welcome gift basket with ASEA products and swag! This basket is worth more than $200. The Marriott is conveniently located across the street from the convention center, making it easy to walk to and from the hotel. There are limited rooms available, book now before they are gone.

Holiday Inn Express Downtown – Another option for lodging during your stay in Salt Lake City is the newly built Holiday Inn. It’s located within walking distance of the convention center with rooms starting at $139 per night when booked through the ASEA room block. However, the ASEA gift basket is not offered for this accommodation option.

Food Favorites

Salt Lake City is rich with delicious local eateries! While you’re in town, be sure to check out some—or even all—of these highly rated restaurants within walking distance of the convention center.

Blue Iguana – This award-winning restaurant offers some of the best Mexican cuisine in Utah!

Settebello Pizzeria – Their delicious pizza Napoletana is made with ingredients imported from Napoli and then cooked in a wood-burning oven. Settebello is an authentic dining experience!

Caffé Molise – Eat delicious Italian food made from high-quality, local ingredients. The dining room at Caffé Molise features beautiful Utah art, too!

Ikigai – Looking for some delicious sushi? Ikigai is the spot! Their Japanese-inspired dishes are packed with flavor.

Bambara – This New American bistro offers a wide variety of dishes, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. The atmosphere includes some historical décor elements like arched windows and brass accents. Bambara is the complete experience!

Toasters – This deli is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a more casual dining experience. Toasters has delicious sandwiches and salads if you’re looking for a simple meal.

The Roof – Take in the BEST view of Salt Lake City at The Roof! This upscale buffet overlooks the entire valley. We’re not sure what’s better, the food or the breath-taking scenery.

Lion House Pantry – This restaurant features home-style cooking in the former home of well-known Mormon Prophet Brigham Young. Eating at the Lion House Pantry is a historical experience.

We can’t wait to host our ASEA associates in our home state! This list just scratches the surface; we’ll be sharing more recommendations in the upcoming weeks on some of the best things to do while you’re here!

Register for the convention now so you don’t miss out on any of the experiences that await!
