Over the past 12 years, we have had the unique opportunity and blessing to interact with so many of you, across 33 countries—each with its own unique culture, customs, and traditions. And each with its own beautiful people. We consider our interactions and relationships with all of you to be among the greatest privileges and blessings of our lives.

The world tries to tell us that we all have great differences, but from you, we have learned the exact opposite: Our cultures, countries, and backgrounds may, in fact, be different, but as people, we are all one and the same. We are people who love our families and want to do good in this world. Ultimately, we want to make a difference.

During this holiday season, when our company ethos, personal beliefs, and cultural commitments can all find their greatest expression, we humbly share two suggestions to make this time of year both memorable and productive.

The first is to make others your first priority and never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved. Our greatest potential is both awakened and realized when we make the well-being, success, and potential of others our number-one priority. So, let’s focus on what binds us, not on what bugs us. 

The second suggestion is to remember this great truth from John Ruskin: “The highest reward for a person’s toil is not what they get for it, but what they become by it.” This is what Believe, Belong, Become is all about. You will find out who you really are as you reach for all you can become.

If we live true to our ASEA ethos and focus on these two suggestions, I am certain we will not only have our most memorable holiday season and set ourselves up for the best year of our lives in 2022; we will truly live up to our brand promise. Together, we power potential.
